Raw Vegan Nori Veggie Wraps

Spring is here…sort of. It was at least on the weekend, 32 degrees and blue sky, then yesterday I had to get the doona’s out again as it was about 12! There’s something about spring that just makes me feel like clean eating, new habits, reinventing and trying harder (at what I don’t know!).

So, I took a bad instagram picture last week of these veggie wraps¬†I made and people seemed to like them, so I thought I’d knock up the recipe properly and get out the good camera to take some real photos. This is the result. As you can see the sun was shining. And I ran out of zucchini and had to use cucumber, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Even though I squeezed all the juice out, it was still a bit damp. Trust me the zucchini is much better.

Healthy Kids Party Food Recipes : My Cookbook!

I’ve just published my first cookbook on Amazon!

I’ve been working on this since the start of the year and was hoping to have it finished a lot sooner, but I kept deliberating, wanting to add more, test more, so in the end I gave myself a good talking to and decided to finish it. The beauty of Amazon Kindle means I can go back and edit and update it, so I can add more recipes!

At the moment it contains 40 recipes great for children from 1-12ish. They are mostly gluten free, sugar free and dairy free. I’ve also marked what is egg free, nut free, vegan and vegetarian.

There are a heap of sweet treats as we all know these are most important at any kid’s party! But they are healthy, so no need to feel bad about serving them.

I’m going to make it free as soon as I can figure out how to do it and will let you know so you can download it! It’s now free for this week!

For the meantime, this is the link:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013ZBHWBK

It’s All Happening Here

I’ve not left you, blog readers. Very busy becoming a new distributor in Australia and launching one of our companies in the UK. Not much chance to take lovely pictures of food and post the details.

So I just thought I’d let you know where it’s all at. It’s still all happening on Pinterest. I still manage to find the time, ok, slack off to Pinterest for a few minutes a day and do some pinning. It is my refuge. It makes me eat healthier when I look at these pictures more often. So I usually escape, mentally escape that is, for a few minutes while the kids are eating breakfast or dinner (one laptop lives in the kitchen).

pinterest So if you are in need of some inspiration, I suggest you pop on over to http://www.pinterest.com/wwwellness/ and start your own pin board. Save what you find interesting and then make it!
