Geez, have I oversold the title? Just a little?
Usually I’ll have a good squeeze of lemon juice and a splash of olive or macadamia nut oil on my salads as I like to taste the ingredients. But sometimes you know you just want to mix it up. And food is all about variety.
So I came up with this mix, really wanting something creamy without the cream. And it is so good. I’m pretty sure you could put some bark and twigs in your salad and they would still taste good with this dressing…
- ½ tablespoon tahini
- ½ tablespoon organic maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons macadamia nut oil
- Whisk it altogether. Taste. Add more of what you want!
